I am 15, almost 16 in a month and a half.
I got my period last year (freshmen year) and I have bad skin. I always have pimples and I LITERALLY have tried EVERYTHING. I eat healthy and drink tons of water too.. My parents didnt have acne when they were younger so I dont think its genetics.
My friends all have like perfect skin. What am i suppose to do? When will puberty pimples stop? When will I stop having alot of pimples?
Do you exercise a lot? That helps and when you're sweating you're getting rid of some toxins from your body.
But you will stop having pimples when you're 18, 19 usually. When will I stop having alot of pimples?
Key to good healthy skin is to avoid greasy foods such as fast foods, eat lots of fresh produce. Taking a Probiotic Supplement is also a good idea to promote the friendly bacteria in the gut. Boosting your diet with foods rich in antioxidants is also an added bonus. Fruits such as blueberries and acai berries are all rich in the latter or you could consider taking an antioxidant Supplement too. It's also a good thing that you're drinking a lot of water. What's your skincare regime like? Keeping it simple is best to avoid flare-ups. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is part of most conventional skincare products formulation amongst other harmful chemicals so be cautious when choosing products that will be absorbed into your skin. These are all known skin irritants and some cancer causing as well. I suggest you try using products that are gentle and safe for both your body and are environmental friendly.

Click on the link that says Value Packs and read on the one that matches your skin type. My advice would be the Soothing Pack which is specifically formulated for Sensitive skin.
If you consider taking the Probiotic and Berry Radical supplements, all can be found under the Health section on the above website.
Good luck to you and hope you find the products that work for you.
=)
It just all depends....maybe since your parents didn't have it, you'll have a better chance of getting out of it quicker...
Examples...I've had GREAT skin ever since I was a teen...a few zits here or there, no biggy. My older sister, had some acne while she was a teen and got out of it, prolly when she turned 20 (around there) and still gets a zit here or there...MY sister, who is the oldest, has had acne EVER since she was young. She is currently 28..and still has it!
:(
Don't give up though, keep doing your healthy thing, and if a new acne treatment comes out, try it. It will help you in the long run, even if u dont' notice in a few days!!
P.S. have u tried Cetaphil?? There was a period of time where I had ';backne'; acne on your back...and I started using Cetaphil bar soap, and litterally within a week or 2 of using it, it started clearing up! Ever since then, I've been using it, and my back is FREE of zits!! I usually find it at Wal-Mart, for like 3 or 4 bucks...or u could try WalGreens or a pharmacy/drug store. :)
WARNING! Don't Even Think About Buying Another Acne Product Until You Read This...
