I was just wondering. When does a teen's body stop producing the male hormone that causes pimples?
Nuclear Mole... It may not be your hormones. That will do it, but it may be your diet. Soda is a no no, as well as greasy hamburgers, Chocolate, and other foods. There are a lot of good acne washes, as well as doctor prescribed medication available today. Try a few of the commercial ones first, and be very strict at using it faithfully. You may see a big improvement. Good Luck! Steve. By the ways im 60 years old and have to take testosterone injections because i lost both testicles from an accident. I break out by my nose, and both cheeks of my butt from the injection every two weeks. You think you have it bad son. In my 60 's and i still have the problem. There's worse things like a little penis maybe. Hope this helps you son. When does a teen's body stop producing the male hormone that causes pimples?
Acne should calm down around 20 years old. I didn't have acne until I was about 18, then it went crazy. I had cysts in my face, not typical acne. But, the good news is you can make your acne better by having your parents take you to a dermatologist. When I was a teenager, my doc put me on Retin-A, and tetracycline. Tetracycline is used during breakouts to kill the bacteria in your system, it is an antibiotic. It costs about 15 dollars a prescription. Retin-A costs about 60 bucks for a tube that will last you 3 to 4 months. Over the counter stuff does not work for deep pimples that have pus come out of them, you need prescription strength.
Never. It's probably from the rise in testosterone due to puberty. I've heard that shaving is a good exfolliant and might help clear it up. Just make sure he practices good hygiene and keeps his face and hand clean. Tell him not to touch or pick his face!
Testosterone will never go away, even women have testosterone....
acne is caused be dirt clogging your pores and bacteria on your skin that feed off of oils on your body.....
Never. If it stops, you're in trouble :)))
tomorrow or maybe the next day
