clearsil. its cheap and effective against pimples.Anyone have anything to stop redness or swelling of pimples?
apply hot water(as hot as you can stand) directley to the puffy pimp with a rag or a cotton ball and hold it for several minutes...the heat will expand the skin more so the stuff can pop out quicker and the redness will be gone...if you squeeze it without the heat it will get redder and sorer...sometimes after applying the heat touching it ever so lightly will make the goo just squirt out so be careful lol...squeezing pimples without and moist heat will leave redness and scars...and large pores(holes in the face)so try this out and let me know how this works for you:)...it works for me every time...
Maybe use a toner or astringent (alcohol-free preferrably) after you clean/wash your face every morning. That should reduce the redness of your pimples and it also minimizes your pores so your pimples won't look so swelled up. and also I don't know if you pick at your acne or touch them but try not to. Keep your face clean and never touch it unless you are washing it and make sure your hands are clean first. Oh and when using the toner/astringent, just take a cotton swab/ball and gently rub it on your face lightly. Do this AFTER your normal face wash routine in the morning. Just once a day. I recommend the Neutrogena Oil-Free Astringent (it's in a blue bottle and it's clear/see through). That one is about $5. A cheaper one is Clean and Clear Astringent and those are about 3 something, close to $4. Hope I helped a little. Goodluck (:
as of today i found out putting toothpaste on them overnight takes down the swelling. idk if it works but it cant hurt. not gel toothpaste though, only the pasty stuff.
