If i stop wearing make up will i get less pimples?? also how do i get rid of acne scars?

It could help with them most definitley....here is something i did to get rid of my acne...

My skincare routine:

Cleanser: Basis....this is just a bar of soap that matches your pH level of your skin....so it wont dry out your face(if you don't use moisturizer though it will) This cleanser seems simple and it is not meant to fight acne...but in a sense it does...it really cleans your face well without drying out your face...i didnt believe my mom when she recomended it...but man does it work wonders

Toner: Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner...really any toner you prefer is ok...but this it the one i use. Start from the top of your face and go towards the temples...aslo with cheeks...go towards the temples...then on chin go in circular motions only(not making it up...this is what you are supposed to do whenever applying anything to your face) This will take off the dead skin and make your pores smaller(helps with the dirt getting in) It also leaves face really smooth and nice looking!!!!

Moisturizer : Sheer Cover Oil Free Moisturizer...again any moisturizer will be good...just as long as it is oil free, made for the face, does not have any acne fighting agents in it. Dot it all over face then apply just like i said with the toner. Moisturizing can really halp fighting the acne. Did you know that dry skin is actually a cause for acne and pimples? The dry skin will actually clog your pores and therefore cause a breakout. Dont listen to people saying you just need to dry your face out...its a lie.

Facial scrub: Oatmeal and Sugar....seriously...this is the BEST scrub i have ever had....just take oatmeal and grind it into a powder and the add Sugar( more Sugar if you want more of a scrub...less if you just want something soothing) then add a little water and make like a paste( not too thick and not too thin) Rub on your face for like 3 minutes then rinse with warm water...put moisturizer on right afterward and your face will feel so refreshed and soft!!!!! Do it about once a week. Dont rub too hard or you will damage face. The oatmeal is for sootheing for face of redness and dry skin. The sugar is for exfoliation.

Steam your face for about 5 to 10 minutes a week. Mousturize right after you steam. This will open your pores and get all the dirt and grim out. It also helps with dryness. Dont steam and use the scrub on the same day. It is best to use it on seperate days. Dont ask me why...just figured it out. =)

I suffer a little more from dry skin...but yet it can get oily at times...but with this routine has been great....and now i don't have a single blemish or patch of dry skin!!!!! It is amazing!!!!! Do this routine( excluding the scrub and steam) twice a day. Your skin will clear up...but in about a week or two your face will break out and that is a good sigh. This is because all of the dirt is getting out of your skin. Just keep with it and it will pay off in the long run...i have great skin right now(used to have horrible skin...i could have seriously been on one of those acne comercials it was so bad)...but now i have stuck with this routine and my skin is now soft and smooth!!!!!!!

Tips:

Vitamin E(taking it and also rubing on face) is really good for your skin

Olive oil is also good(rubbing on face...wamred...rinsed with warm water

Taking fish oil is also good

Try not to touch your face....it pushes the dirt into your faceIf i stop wearing make up will i get less pimples?? also how do i get rid of acne scars?

yes, makeup does tend to make acne worse, so wearing it only when theres a special occasion often helps most girls. also, it depends on the type of acne scar: if its just a red, flat spot, you can fade these by using a peel (or mask) with glycolic acid, and also, try dabbing lemon juice on them every night (it sounds weird but it does work; citric acid does basically the same thing as salicylic). if theyre pits, unfortunately there isnt a whole lot you can do, aside from laser surgery, but try using something with hylauronic acid; it plumps up the skin so the pits may fill out a little.
Depending on your age, and your hormonal levels, stopping the makeup use can definitely help. If you are young, like under 20, chances are good that it isn't caused by makeup, but makeup can make it worse, just as anything else that plugs up your pores can (including any moisturizer).

People worry about drying out their skin. At a young age, drying out your skin is highly preferrable to skin scars and other damage caused by the acne.

Any kind of chemicals you put on your face can have some sort of negative effect.

Here are some simple suggestions, and some will argue, but they do work:

Use a hot wash cloth, with water as hot as you can stand to get the affected area to open up the pores. Usually a minute or so will work. Then use a type of soap that leaves your skin feeling squeeky clean (coast, irish spring, zest work well) to lightly scrub off any left over oils. Be gentle, your skin will be sensitive. Rinse with very warm water until all soap is gone, then rinse some more with cooler water to close the pores back up. Do this several times a day, especially morning and night. Never leave any makeup on all night. If possible never put any kind of coverup or blush on your face, even the most expensive brands will plug up your pores, encouraging pimple growth (and men really don't like makeup ladies).

If you have very oily skin, try using witch hazel to gently wipe away the excess oils throughout the day.

If you happen to get any large pimples, which can cause the scarring, or ones that turn to white heads, take a clean fine needle and poke a small hole in the top that will let out the junk inside and very gently squeeze your skin UNDERNEATH THE PIMPLE, which pushes the puss outward, and not in. If you force it in deeper, it creates more infection, which is why doctors don't want you to squeeze. Do not force it, or make it hurt much, just lightly do it to get the majority of the puss out. Getting the majority of it out will allow your bodies natural healing properties to get a major head start on getting that damaged area to heal. If left alone, the white heads can get very infected, and that's what causes the scars and pits.

When the outbreak goes away, then it's safe to use a light moisturizer again, but use it sparingly, except in areas where we tend to wrinkle, then use more there (by the way we normally don't get pimples where we wrinkle).
hey, if you have really oily foundation.. it can affect your skin and produce more pimples... also.. if your skin is to dry your skin will naturally produce more oils to keep it hydrated thus getting more pimples its a little tricky getting the right balance for your skin. you have to shop around.. if you have a lot of acne maybe try getting a colored acne cream like tinted Clearasil, its like acne cream but tinted so it covers the red marks.

you have to remember to take your make up off everyday.. i use make up remover then st. Ives apricot scrub ( which is an excellent invention) and toner...

for the scares.. yes scare serum is good... like bio oil. its hard to get rid of scares and you actually cant do it.. but you can make them appear less.... products like bio oil make the scare tissue softer and less noticeable.. but you will always have a scare... you should never pick at your pimples unless you need to. what i do when i have an occasional big one that is ready to be popped i get a sterile pin... and poke a little hole in the center of the pimple and then let it drain by gently squeezing the edges.. and then straight away i wash it... and apple pimple cream.. by the next day it is significantly gone..

hope i was of some help
Try Bare Minerals for your makeup. It's a little more expensive than what you find at your local Walmart or Target but it worked wonders for me! You can find it at Ulta, Sephora and Bare Minerals stores.

Also- if you have acne right now, try using Aquaglycolic Facial Cleanser. You will have to get this at a pharmacy, it's not sold on store shelves. It too is a little more expensive, but hey, whatever works!!
To treat acne scars, you should first finish treating your acne. Acne scars take a lot of effort, and it involves breaking apart scar tissue and letting it reheal.

To get rid of pimples, makeup can be an issue if you're using the wrong ones. There should be makeup specifically for acne.

Acne is one of those phases of life you get as you grow through puberty and your face produces a lot more oil. Keeping it clean is the main thing, but look at boys, they don't wear makeup and get just as many pimples.

Use vitamin E on your scars
It really depends on your skin.

Personally, makeup makes me break out.

If you don't want to stop wearing it, then make sure you wash it off properly every night. Residual makeup may be what's causing pimples.
some makeup have oils in them...just look for those that dont and try washing your face before you put it on and then when u take it off...I would suggest getting face wash that prevents or cures acne.

As far as the scars go...i am unsure of anything that helps.
Usually, yes. It's best to let your skin breathe freely. But if you absolutely must use makeup, use water based stuff instead of oil based.... wear it as little as possible and wash it off as soon as you can.
